The Delta Quick Review: There are a lot of things to like about the Ezzy RDM. Perhaps the most notable is that having sold too many of these masts to count we have never had to put in a warranty claim for a broken mast. Add to this incredible reliability the fact that the Ezzy RDM is one of lighter 90'ish percent carbon masts, and this fact becomes even more impressive.
This would be irrelevant if the mast felt like crap in your sail, but with a bend that seems to split the difference in extremes for stiffness and curve, odds are it will work even if you are not riding an Ezzy sail. Should you have an outlier sail and the standard bend does not fit, we can still make it work perfectly. Since the Ezzy's can be mixed and matched with different length tops and bottoms we can customize the bend to fit any sail.
This mix and match system also helps out when it's time to add a larger or smaller sail to the quiver. Often times the 15cm growth that a longer top or bottom with one of your existing mast pieces is enough length to fit that extra sail and you've only got to buy half a mast instead of the price of a full mast.

- Our Hookipa skinny masts contain 91% pre-preg carbon fiber. Pre-preg is the key to achieving a superior weight-to-strength ratio.
- The fibers are pre-saturated to an exact resin-to-fiber ratio, then hand-wrapped around a mandrel, and then thermally cured.
- The Ezzy Skinny Mast gets its superior strength from the 50% extra thickness of its walls.

- Ezzy tops and bottoms are interchangeable and sold individually. You can buy the perfect combination for your sail quiver. That means fewer masts. The general rule when mixing tops and bottoms is: choose a shorter bottom with a longer top.
- Talk to your local dealer about a skinny dedicated mast extension, or conversion parts to convert your existing mast extension to work with skinny masts.
- The Ezzy Sails are widely tested on standard and reduced diameter masts, and work perfectly well, but if you are looking for the perfect blend of performance and durability for Wave, Bump and Jump or even Slalom conditions, the RDM mast system is is the way to go. Ezzy mast bend curves are constant curve with these values:
- ¼ point: 62%
- ¾ point: 77%
Note: this is not carbon content. This is the percentage bend relative to the midpoint bend.
Ezzy Masts Fit Most Sails
Ezzy masts work in all sails that require a constant curve bend.
For Sails That Require a Hard Top Bend Mast
Customers using sail brands that require a hard top bend have found success combining our top with a bottom that is two sizes smaller. For example combining a 460 top and a 400 bottom produces a 430 cm hard top mast.
